The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Life after Penn State. Ten years have gone by. Many things have changed-much remained the same. I had short hair, long hair, and short hair again. I have been nicknamed Hamada, Hazy, and lately Ozzie. I have lived mainly in the DC Metro area. My house is in Odenton, MD. I worked nearby in MD, DC, and VA. As part of my journey, I worked for Coleman Research Corporation, Northrop Grumman, and the US Patent Office. Lately, I worked for Motorola as an RF systems engineer in the Land Mobile Radio sector where I got to travel to many different parts of the country including Alaska and Puerto Rico. Afterwards I went to work for the Department of Homeland Security where I continued to do the same type of work. I still play the sport that I enjoy the most and thats soccer. I was lucky to join so many teams, indoor and outdoor. I managed and captained many teams; however, the one that stands out the most is the General Lees. Read our story at Generallees01.com. I joined the team in 2001 and have captained it since 2004. I am blessed to be surrounded by such a great group of friends and teammates. I frequently go back to my home country, Egypt, on vacations. My journey continues. Maybe someday my path will cross with some of my former classmates. I wish everyone the best.
